Close Up
  • What I Do

General Manager leading an Aerospace Repair and Overhaul site.

  • Why Engineering?

Engineering is creativity. The ability to imagine, design, build and transform.

  • School Days

BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University
    MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University
Business Analytics from Harvard Business Analytics Program

  • Best Part

I love solving problems. As an engineer you don't see a problem, you always see a solution and opportunities. It is so fun and rewarding when you solve a problem.

  • Proud Moments

We are currently building an eHUB to invite students into our business to learn about aerospace engineering. Attracting future engineers and engaging them at a young age especially girl engineers is a life time dream and goal.

  • My Family

I have 2 teenagers. My oldest son is 16 years old who love sport and gaming. My daughter is 14 years old and loves fashion. They both love serving and volunteering.

  • Inspiration

My aunt had the greatest influence on my life. She was a physics teacher who was the first female to graduate with a physics degree. She was also a leader who fought for women rights and inspired village women to work and be independent.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

I would say if you can dream it, you can do it. Engineering is fun and exciting. It's a whole new world with possibilities

  • Hobbies

I love to read. My favorite book "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. I am reading the "Culture Code" by Daniel Coyle. I love building high performing team and this book is spot on.

Biography
In the past 30 years of my life, I had enjoyed so many different engineering roles that helped me learn so much about so many different industries. My first engineering job was a quality engineer at a medical company. It was fun to work on medical devices used to fix the heart. My next job was in fluid power where I we monitored pressure on fun things like roller coaster and water show that goes up and down with the music. My next role was working for a company that makes gears for wind turbine and cars. In my current role, I lead a site that repair different parts in the plane. I work with all airlines and get to help planes stay in service and fly as long as possible. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my 2 teenagers.
