Having a kid while still pursuing a career has been challenging. It still is until now. Just glad I'm in the Philippines, and a nanny is affordable.

Married for four years, a daughter at 2 years old. My husband is also in Engineering, and has a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering.

My short term goal is to develop my team into proficient Materials and Process engineers. Long term goal is to have a technical leadership position, where I can make technological choices that bring revenue to a company.

The next generation. I want my life to matter so much, that things will be easier to the next generation. It may be through an invention, or teaching them STEM.

Find your own person. Go for a technical career if you really want it, make sure it's your own desire and decision, so that you can fight for it when things get hard.

I love being in the ocean, the mountains, lakes. I love being in the nature and play with my daughter there. My favorite book is The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.
