Kelly Hon

Hi! I am a Mechanical Engineering that currently works on developing and introducing new medical products into the market for a global organization called Becton Dickinson (BD). I work directly with Quality Engineers, Regulatory Specialists, Sustaining Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and more to collaborate and launch these specialty disposable products. Before BD I worked at Newell Brands where my focus was on Design Engineering, which meant I turned a sketch into a real product. My projects required concept ideation in a multidisciplinary setting, 3D prototype development, engineering solutions, and manufacturing refinement. During my college years I gained a lot of experience through various internships all over America in different fields of Mechanical Engineering like HVAC and Manufacturing, which helped me confirm my career choice and the disciplines that interest me within this broad engineering discipline.
