I got into engineering because I love math and science. I picked Aerospace Engineering because it let me combine my love of things that fly with engineering, math, and science. I think in general Aerospace Engineering provides you with a great foundation of engineering knowledge. In my degree I learned about structures, materials, dynamics and control, propulsion, aerodynamics, and design. Having knowledge in a lot of areas has allowed me to move around my company and take on different roles while still having a good base to work off of. In general, an engineering degree is extremely versatile and opens up a lot of opportunities.
