What I Do I am currently working as a design engineer. My job mostly entails me designing vessels or tanks using CAD software ensuring they meet the required codes and clients specifications.
Why Engineering? I choose engineering because I love bringing to life ideas and designs that make life easy for people in general.
School Days I studied Mechanical Electronic Systems Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University Scotland.
My Day At Work My day at work includes attending project meetings, going through Mechanical deliverables, e.g., mechanical datasheet for a project, creating the design using the data collecting on the required cad software and analyzing it.
Want to be an Engineer? Do not be discouraged by the few women in the sector, take a stand and be willing to learn and unlearn as you go along. Never give up.
